    “By which the National Anthem of the Grand Duchy of Navaza is adopted.”

    THE GRAND DUKE OF NAVAZA
    “By the grace of God and the will of the Nation”

    In his capacity as Head of State and Head of the Grand Ducal House of Navaza, based on the powers granted to him in article 23 of the Political Constitution of Navaza, and

    CONSIDERING:

    That the Monarch of Navaza holds the status of Head of State, as well as official, legal, name and arms head of the Noble and Sovereign House of Navaza, in exercise of the irrevocable and inherent prerogatives of the Ius Majestatis, of the Honorum Funds, of the Ius Solii, of the Ius Disponendi and of Iure Fidei.

    That it is necessary and important to establish the National Anthem of the Grand Duchy of Navaza as the musical emblem of the Grand Duchy of Navaza, this being the moral and cultural heritage of the Navajo nation, for its official use as a national symbol by the Head of State and the other government institutions and individuals authorized to do so.

    That Don Camilo Valencia Trujillo composed the lyrics of the National Anthem of the Grand Duchy of Navaza with music of his own and that of Maestro Carlos Orlando Ospina Reveló, both illustrious Navaça nationals.

    That the National Anthem is a poetic-musical composition whose meaning is to honor historical figures and events that contributed to the emergence of the Navajo nation.

    That the National Anthem is a lyrical inspiration, which contains a philosophical, historical and patriotic meaning expressed in its chorus and stanzas.

    That the National Anthem has been put into consideration by the national authorities of Navaza and the people in general, and has been unanimously accepted.

    That the National Anthem must have an Official Version, which will be used in public events.

    DECREES:

    First article.- Establish as the National Anthem of the Grand Duchy of Navaza, the poetic-musical composition that bears that name, authored by Don Camilo Valencia Trujillo and music by him and Maestro Carlos Orlando Ospina Reveló, which is determined as follows:

    NATIONAL ANTHEM OF THE GRAND DUCHY OF NAVAZA

    STANZA 1

    On the rocks that the creator predestined

    for lighthouse and solidity of the same honor 

    He was born as the king star does,

    from the horizon spread to the heights 

    For the good of the planet and its creatures,

    a noble legion of salvation

    Has veiled their shining souls,

    for the country beyond the sea that God gave him.

    STANZA 2

    Even if dense clouds covered you,

    although the sun refused to give you light 

    What a shining pearl earring,

    you emerged from the bottom of the seas

    And you shone with your own light even at night,

    of storms and fierce ingratitude 

    Today yours like guardians of glory

    We pay tribute to your flag

    CHORUS

    They will write about your people in the future

    that was born to stay and flourish

    May the long stormy past

    forbid us to succumb to horror

     

    Long live God in the conscience of your children

    let the cauldrons of love be lit

    And let the blacksmiths forge on their anvils

    a story called freedom

    VERSE 3

    The rosary of glory awaits us

    the list of dreams to fulfill 

    Let us advance along the victorious path

    after the inalienable goal of existing

    May the wise knights protect you,

    May science accompany you and cultivate you 

    Let the roars resonate in the chest,

    May the waves surround you and watch over you.

    VERSE 4

    The honest work of artisans

    has carved a shield in our being 

    It is a shield that protects everything,

    It is a blazon that deserves everything.

    Let the earth rumble in the confines

    our voices with the sound of bugles 

    And that all the peoples of the earth

     grant you the right to grow

    CHORUS

    They will write about your people in the future

    that was born to stay and flourish

    Second Article.- Adopt as the official version of the National Anthem of the Grand Duchy of Navaza, the one sung as the Official Voice by Don Álvaro Victoria Castaño himself.

     Third Article. It is ordered permanently and throughout the national territory that in all public and private events, when listening to or singing the chords of the National Anthem of the Grand Duchy of Navaza, all civil citizens present must adopt a standing position, revealing the head and carrying the right hand over the heart, as a sign of love for the country, respect and reverence towards our national symbols. The members of the Security Forces, Armed Forces and Gendarmerie will do so in a standing position, and performing the military salute.
