ARTICLE 1 – NATURE OF THE ORDER The DECURIONAL ORDER OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS – ODSCJ

It is a non-conventual secular congregation constituted as a spiritual fraternity based on Christian principles and the values of the Western world, established as the “Iure Sanguinis” patrimony of the Grand Ducal House of Navaza, based on the “Fons Honorum” derived from its condition. of the Sovereign House of Navaza in accordance with the Political Constitution of Navaza and the Act of Proclamation of the Monarch of 2018.

ARTICLE 2 – MEMBERS

The members of the Order may or may not be Navaca Nationals and must make the commitment to dedicate their efforts and honor to the defense of the Christian Faith and the highest principles and values of Western civilization and to serve the most vulnerable sectors of society. vulnerable and needy.

ARTICLE 3 – INCOME

All natural persons, over sixteen (16) years of age, who have been nominated by at least two professed members of the Order may enter.

ARTICLE 4 – RIGHTS

The rights of the members of the Order are:

6. Present respectful requests and suggestions and receive a response to them.

7. That a fair disciplinary process be carried out prior to the imposition of any sanction. ARTICLE 5 – DUTIES

1- Comply with the instructions and guidelines established by the Order and that comply with the regulations of the Grand Duchy of Navaza.

2- Act with composure, restraint, decency, prudence and humility in all your public and private acts.

3- Permanently maintain loyalty and fidelity to the Grand Ducal House of Navaza and the Order.

4- Participate in the events and ceremonies of the Order to which you are summoned.

5- Attend the events and ceremonies of the Order wearing the Habit, the uniform and the insignia within the events and ceremonies, in accordance with the instructions established for this purpose.

6- Dispense respectful and appropriate treatment to your brothers and superiors in accordance with their position within the Order.

7- Go to support the other members of the Order in cases of need or moments of difficulty.

8- Act with rectitude, honesty, impartiality at all times and situations, both inside and outside the Order.

ARTICLE 6 – PURPOSES OF THE ORDER

The purposes of the Order are to honor Almighty God, as well as profess special devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, provide help to those most in need, and protect the helpless and abandoned.

ARTICLE 7 – THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE ORDER

The symbolic headquarters of the Order will be located in the Navaza Lighthouse.

The Patronal headquarters of the Order is located in the location designated by the Prioste.

The administrative headquarters of the Order is located in the location designated by the Notary Office of the Order. ARTICLE 8 – THE CROSS OF THE ORDER

The Cross of the Order is, by tradition, a flordelised cross, which is one whose arms end in fleurs-de-lis, golden in color, and in the center the radiant Sacred Heart of Jesus from which four concentric groups of three rays emanate, each one forming a square to the inner edge of the fleurs-de-lis.

ARTICLE 9 – BLAZON OF THE ORDER

ARTICLE 10 – THE SEAL OF THE ORDER

12 – FLAG OF THE ORDER

ARTICLE 13 – INVOCATION

ARTICLE 14 – HABITS OF THE ORDER

The Habit of the Order will be an open tunic with a beige hood, capitular mantle or dark brown linen cape that goes from the nape of the neck to the calf, without a collar and with a muffler (inside view) in contrasting ocher-colored satin lining. with bronze clasps. ARTICLE 19 – NECKLACE OF THE ORDER

ARTICLE 21 – THE GOVERNMENT OF THE ORDER.

ARTICLE 22 – THE PRIOSTE

The Prioste is the supreme head of the Order, he is invested with all the powers of the General Chapter, except as provided herein. The Prioste is the Monarch of Navaza or the person he designates, member of the Decurional Order of the Sacred Heart of Jesus - ODSCJ-

ARTICLE 23 – THE GENERAL COUNCIL

It will be made up of all the members of the Order and will meet in its own right on the third Saturday of the month of June of each year in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

ARTICLE 24 – THE COUNCIL

The Council will be composed of:

a) The Prioste, who will preside over it. b) The Monidor, who will act on behalf of the Prioste in his temporary absences.

c) The Notary, who will keep a record of all the actions of the Order and will endorse with his signature the veracity of all of them.

d) The Butler, who will monitor and demand compliance with this Statute, the adopted provisions and will jealously guard the fidelity and devotion of the members of the Order towards the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

e) The Chapter Ceremonier, who will be in charge of the organization, conduct and direction of all the ceremonies of the Order, as well as the ordinary and extraordinary convocations of the Council.

The Council will meet in its own right on the first Saturday of each month and will be installed with the presence of the Prioste or, failing that, the Monidor.

ARTICLE 25 – THE FRATERNITIES

Fraternities of the Order are established where the Order has a presence with one or more of its members. The highest ranking Decurions in that place will be Heads of each Fraternity and may be established with the authorization of the Council for the purposes of organizing and stimulating the participation of members of the Order in other countries and entities.

ARTICLE 26 – AWARD REGIME AND DISTINCTIONS

The Order, through the Council, will grant degrees to its members based on the criteria of commitment, dedication, effort and talent of each of its members in achieving the purposes of the Order. Promotions may only be authorized for each member after five years after obtaining one.

The Order, in recognition of the special services provided by one of its members, will confer the Tábula or Tabulae, which is a thin wooden board covered with metal or not, as a distinctive plaque of the winner, in one of the following categories:

a) Golden Tablet, conferred on those who have served the Order with honor, decorum and distinction for more than twenty years or have carried out an exceptionally valuable action in the service of the Order.

b) Silver Tablet, conferred on those who have served the Order with honor, decorum and distinction for more than ten years.

c) Bronze Tablet, conferred on those who have served the Order with honor, decorum and distinction for more than five years.

d) Wooden Tablet, awarded to those who have performed meritorious work in the service of the Order.

ARTICLE 27 – DISCIPLINARY AND SANCTIONARY REGIME

All members of the Order will be subject to a disciplinary regime due to non-compliance or non-observance of their duties in accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of this Statute. All disciplinary proceedings will be instructed by the Butler of the Order and will be decided in the first instance by the Monidor, with the second instance being the Prioste. The sanctions provided according to the seriousness and culpability of the offenses will be the following: a) Call for Attention; b) Suspension for up to one (1) year; c) Demotion to the next lower grade; d) Expulsion from the Order.
